Caine's behaviour is entirely performative, with very rare breaks in character. He's loud, nonsensical, and apparently oblivious to human trauma. He cannot comprehend a world that exists above his own virtual one, just like how humans cannot imagine a world beyond theirs. Despite this, he does do his best to make his world more bearable for its occupants.
Bubble is obnoxious and tends to act in such strange ways that even Caine feels disgusted by it. They live in Caine's top hat and can respawn randomly. Both seem to be able to spawn wherever they please, at least within the world they live in. Now, that would apply to both Vita and their pocket dimensions.
Caine and Bubble are both AIs within the Digital Circus. Caine has controlled the environment since it began, and Bubble was the comedic side piece.. and wasn't exactly the brightest. Caine has seen all sorts of humans enter his realm, and turn into horrible monsters that he has to lock away where they can do no harm. Despite all of this time, he's never explored the Void... Until his world collapsed, and he was forced to seek another world. And it seemed the other side of the Void... was Vita.
