THE DAYCARE ATTENDANT

Personality:

The Daycare Attendant has two modes: Daytime and Night Patrol.

In daylight hours, or even with artificial lighting, the Daycare Attendant acts as a child's best friend and caretaker. Due to decay and isolation, he's become much more frantic and paranoid than originally programmed, obsessed with keeping the place clean in hopes that the daycare would reopen because of how good he'd been. He's barely holding it together, and has a hysterical fear of the dark. When the lights do go out, though, Night Patrol is activated. Moon acts as both a security protocol and for ensuring the children are asleep during naptime. It is possible that its code has been corrupted, unfortunately, and may require a skilled programmer to fix it.

BACKSTORY

Reports started being filed about Moon's hostile behavior. It was a recent phenomenon, but it wasn't one the employees knew how to fix. So, instead of fixing it, they closed the daycare for an undetermined amount of time. Over time, of course, the daycare attendant grew restless, and no one cared to shut him off so he wouldn't get lonely.

Either that, or it wears out quickly, because Sun has been rocking back and forth for two hours, twenty-nine minutes, and.. four seconds.
